Wikipedia - Keflavík ÍF

El Keflavik Íþrotta-og ungmennafélag (en español: Asociación de Hielo y Juventud de Keflavik), conocido simplemente como Keflavík ÍF es un club de fútbol islandés de la ciudad de Keflavík. Fue fundado en 1929 y juega en la Úrvalsdeild.

El Keflavík ÍF se originó en el año 1919 como UMFK Keflavík (Ungmennafélag Keflavíkur), en 1956 se fusionó con el KFK Keflavik dando origen al ÍB Keflavik (ÍBK). En 1994 adopta su actual nombre Keflavik IF.

El Keflavík es un club de fútbol de Islandia de la ciudad de Keflavík. Actualmente juega en la 1. deild karla y su estadio es el Nettóvöllur.

El club fue fundado el 5 de abril de 1929 y ha ganado el título de liga en dos ocasiones, en 1964 y 1965. También ha ganado la Copa de Islandia en cuatro ocasiones, en 1955, 1956, 1962 y 1975.

El Keflavík ha participado en competiciones europeas en varias ocasiones, alcanzando la segunda ronda de la Recopa de Europa en 1966-67 y la primera ronda de la Copa de la UEFA en 1975-76.
